They hope to work with the current landowner to understand the history of the land and strategies employed in the past to inform the future of the farm. Missy and Paul Pfeiffer are looking to purchase 40 to 100 acres and transition conventional land to a regenerative model in the driftless region of Minnesota (Goodhue, Wabasha, Winona counties within two hours of Saint Paul ). The property has a solar array, on an open garage outbuilding with poured concrete floor used as a pack-shed, will finish out for 3 season pack shed. There are 2 wells on the property, one for the house and one over by the animal barn. This smaller house has a woodstove and no running water, used for farm stays and farm labor. Also another smaller, historical house on corner of the property, brought in from another farm by previous owners. There is a large pole barn with lots of potential: currently has a workshop, bathroom, shower, kitchenette, mini-fridge. There is a small animal shelter, top portion is a chicken coop. In addition there is a little herb garden, kitchen garden, part of it has been in bulk herbs for CSA, developing some perennial medicinal herbs, asparagus patch and rhubarb.
